Both American Teams Aim for Medals

The roster for the U.S. national junior men’s team was announced on March 4, 2025, and the women’s junior team roster was published on March 17, 2025.

The goal for the American juniors is definitely to win one of the medals. They last stood on the podium 11 years ago, which is quite a long gap. With the ambition of medaling, they are sending a mix of young players to Slovakia, and the team’s main trump card should be the new offensive energy the players bring.

The junior women showed incredible progress in their gameplay at the last championship. That’s why this summer in Slovakia, they will try to win the very first medal for the USA in this category.

One of their fans sent beautiful words of encouragement to the women’s junior team via social media:
"America has always been great, we don’t need to become great again. Ladies, go out there and show them how amazing you are!"

In both categories, we can certainly expect an American push for medal positions, which is the first sign that every game featuring Team USA will be full of quality and belief in victory!
