The association’s leadership expressed their gratitude to the families and players for their commitment and dedication. “Representing Team Canada reflects your devotion to the sport and the effort you put in to reach this milestone,” reads the official message of thanks.

At the same time, there’s a challenge for all national team members: “We can’t wait to see how these athletes will represent Canada on the international stage, showcasing the talent and passion that define the hockey legacy of our country.” These encouraging words are certainly a beautiful message for every player who will represent Canada in Slovakia!

The motto of the entire call-up for both Canadian national teams is simple and very fitting:
