Draw for the U20 Ball Hockey Championship in Poprad

From July 2 to July 6, 2025, the Junior Ball Hockey World Championship for both boys and girls will take place in Poprad. The games will be played at two venues. A total of 28 matches will be held, 14 in each category.

The main center of the championship will be the Poprad Ice Stadium, where the vast majority of the games will take place—23 out of 28 matches in total.

The second venue, the hall of the Secondary Sports School in Poprad, will host only five games: four on the first day of play and one on the second day (these games are marked as RINK 2). In the junior boys' category, the games held here will be Czech Republic vs. Switzerland (July 2, 11:15), and USA vs. Switzerland (July 2, 18:00). In the junior girls' category, three games will be played: USA vs. Great Britain (July 2, 9:00), Czech Republic vs. Great Britain (July 2, 15:45), and USA vs. Czech Republic (July 3, 10:00).

The tournament system is the same in both categories.

The winner of the round-robin phase advances directly to the final.

The teams that finish second and third in the round-robin phase will face each other in a direct match for a place in the final. The winner of this game moves on to the final, while the loser will play for third place against the winner of the match between the fourth and fifth teams from the round-robin.

The teams finishing fourth and fifth in the round-robin will compete for a place in the third-place game. The loser of this match is eliminated from the tournament. The winner will face the loser of the match between the second and third teams in the bronze medal game.

On the final day of the championship, only medal games will be played in both categories.

The official tournament draw is shown both by category and by individual playing days.
