Canada is the most successful, Slovakia has won the most medals

The Junior World Championship in Poprad will mark its twelfth edition. This will be the third time the championship is organized in Slovakia.

In terms of medals won, the most successful country is Canada, which has become world champion five times in the 11 championships held so far. Canada will also defend its title from the last championship in Poprad.

In second place in terms of success is Slovakia, which has won the world title three times, followed by the Czech Republic with two titles, and the USA has won the championship once.

In the women’s junior category, only two world championships have been held so far. Both took place in the Czech Republic, and medals were claimed by only three countries, each time in a different order.
